About Rodopa Ensemble Rodopa Bulgarian Folklore Ensemble Smolyan was established in 1960 to collect, preserve and popularize the unique folk-instrumental folklore of the Rhodope Mountains. Since its inception, Ensemble "Rodopa" has over 6000 concerts and over the years has gained increasing popularity and recognition.
